Q: What types of cards does MasterCard offer in Australia?

Q: Is MasterCard accepted globally?

A: Yes, MasterCard is accepted around the world at retail outlets and ATM machines, where you see the MasterCard (or Cirrus®) sign.

Q: Who should I call if I have problems with my card?

A: If you experience problems with your card either in Australia or overseas, you should contact your issuing bank, whose number will be printed on the back of your card. You can also simply call our Emergency Services number.

Q: What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

A: If your card is lost or stolen, you should contact your issuing bank immediately. As a precaution, we suggest that you keep a note of this contact number separate from your cards/wallet. For help when overseas, please see Emergency Services and contact the number for the country you are in.

Q: How can I find an ATM?

A: Some financial institutions that issue MasterCard cards have online capabilities. Others do not. To find out about your bank's online capabilities, or to find a MasterCard financial institution with specific online functions, contact the customer service department of the bank directly.
